StreetFeet are very proud to announce a new brand to our already exciting range of trainers. A new brand to us but an old and well trusted brand to many others. Reebok, best known for their range of high performance sports trainers yet also known for a retro styled coolness which will give you a style and performance that cannot be ignored. Reebok trainers are well known for making trainers of the highest quality comfort and construction. Features in all shoes include padded insoles, a moisture wiking lining and durable outer materials.
Although originally formed in 1895 when Joseph William Foster founded a shoe company named J.W. Foster and Sons the name Reebok didn't come into prominence until 1960 when Joseph's grandsons renamed the company. Reebok's popularity then surged in the 1980's with the introduction of the Freestyle Athletic shoe which was designed for women and came out when the aerobics craze had started. Following this shoe's success a male equivalent called the EX-O-Fit was also introduced. Reebok had another surge in 1987 with the release of the Reebok Classic trainer. The Reebok Classic has become a staple of certain youth cultures. So much so that this retro classic has been referenced in various songs by music acts including The Streets, The Arctic Monkeys and Babyshambles. Jay-Z and 50 Cent are also fans.
